Perhaps Life Is One Of Those Perfect Things
Excerpt from poem:
i.
I’ve noticed changes
slipping silently
it’s been six years.. . . I remember exactly.
Summer seasons carried far. Leaves fallen.
We traveled to our special place that day
we took faith in Autumn.
You said I could save the world with a poem
so I wrote you this one
as you played your mandolin
and sang your love-songs
beautifully composed… .
we wore our crowns.
