Your chapbook was turned in eager fingers
appreciating the tactile quality of cover,
charming sketch, and earthy copper threads…

My every thought was to merely scan first pages,
saving a deeper read for later this evening
~ except, your lines drew me in, and soon
I was smiling, and suspending the world a while.

Delighted to finally have these tangible
poetic pages, penned by a friend.

Thank you for sharing ‘ART’ of your heart… 😉

Best wishes! Many successful pressings,
and sales of dynamic Poetry! Have a great evening,
Ever Me~ M.K. Rock

This is poetry for the soul, a great body of work that captures the brilliance of every single line and through it all you truly excel as you take us on another poetic journey. Charles

I really dig the atmosphere… how the words trickle like an uneven staircase down the page. I like the idea in finding solace in solitude, in nature’s bounty, and in the memories that we cherish. Inspiring. eppypen

The melancholy in this is tangible, it makes the reader want to reach out to the writer, to hug them, to pat them on the back and say “yes, yes, this is going to be okay “. You always invoke such powerful images of emotion when you write. This is a wonderful poem. HopeEB

O absolutely loved all of it from the imagery to the sensory details to just the way it portrayed emotion. Beautiful. Lilythewriter

So much you capture the spirit of man, enwrapped with loss, as nature simultaneously reminds him of happiness of connection that once was, and the same time the dreariness of loss, of arranging and rearranging worn out remnants of person who has lost himself in the loss of his loved one. These lines especially resonated with me, of only when one has lost the treasure, do we appreciate it’s value. Stanzas on Stillness and Tears are gripping and evocative, layers of meaning in between the lines, but also the emotions expressed, so tangible and poignant especially the last line when sadness turns to hope. This masterpiece of writing, I need to read again, inhale it’s fragrance, another poem to pin on my profile. Your poetry has swept me away, leaving me breathless with its beauty. Kay Crown

awwww myyyy gosssshhhhh!!!!!! this write … this poem … this masterpiece has stolen my breath away… such depth.. such beauty beneath this sadness… a reality shared..no a glimpse of this reality gifted… with the most amaaazing beautiful tone. Absolutely one of the most brilliant writes i’ve ever been blessed enough to read .. stunning imagery… just beautiful dear poet… i don’t have good enough words to honour such profound ink.. let juust say I LOOOOOOVVVEE THIS AND I AM IN AWE xxx Tanz

Your tale of nature, love-lost, and memories is woven together with such care and precision…I want to write like this…so well done. You should be proud of this write. Oakblue34

wow .. a master piece .. brimmed with so much emotions and true talent. Poeticdebris

This is a forlorn grasp at touching that which is no longer touchable… a beautiful and bewitching spell of sorrow. I loved it! Melissa

Beautiful. The words of love and sadness are very touching and you have penned it so well. It truly deserves praises and all the awards. Lovely poem, I thoroughly enjoyed myself reading such a beauty. Pure Dezire

As always you tested my concentration but as always u left me stunned as well, the metaphors were used to great effect to show romance and love, your poetry s so great that any length of commenting and words of praise would not do justice but i will just say that u r the best around here and i got a winner here. Himanshu singla

Poignant and sumptuous…Brimful of nostalgia and ‘romance’ and in every line. Splendid. Bookmarked! Irene

I could go on for hours about how this is a complete expression of love in its rawest form. Your metaphor spreads like the perfume of the flower you speak of. A great title also. Great work as always. Rashad

Poet, such a narrative of thoughts, the reading of one’s mind….We are walking there with you envisioning the sky, hearing the leaves crunch below our feet, looking at the decaying wilted flowers….this is a beautiful write flowing in such imagery….like a dedication to what once was and yet what remains……You have really taken the prompt to heights! Bravo!! Rosemary

The first time I read this golden scroll. it was a Beaujolais Nouveau, now it is a Sauvignon Blanc, read to be served to Apollo by Hebe. I salute the author of this poetic opus. In respect and appreciation, Andre Bendavi ben-YEHU

Your poems take me to this paradise of wild flowers, and perfect love. Then the wind changes the course of life…which the wind does to all of us, ( nasty wind ). Wilting he cries and gathers the last rite of spring. Poetry has not a nightingale, her music is swept away. He is left with verses on pages with a hint of honeysuckle. But life does not stand still…and you leave us with hope and courage. Bravo Dear Poet …Elise

IT had a luring to it. A soft touch that makes you follow and drink into it as you read on. And as i read on i got more lost in your words. The images danced around me as if i was really looking into the flowers, the nature around me. And i am so glad you entered this in my contest. Though the lost love that is int he poem reminds me of two old lovers together. And one dies off yet the other one has to continue on. And the flowers are a mourning, a way to carry on. I know it might not be how you wanted it, but its what popped into my mind. haha. Truly outstanding. I loved it. Shortiebabe

Like the wind that rearranges things surpassing excellence… Mlou

I think your style has changed over the years but how you wrote back in 2010, is still as beautiful and expressive as anything from your latest poems and the melancholy feelings here are deeply felt. In this long freeverse you capture a lot of emotions and I feel a strong sense of nostalgia in the sad story you tell. Charles

“Well done, poet” when commenting on something I really like, but those are not adequate words for what you’ve done. This is exquisite. I will not comment on particular lines as there are too many gems within this masterfully written poem. I will only say Bravo! Lady Gloria

Wondrous content, marvelous metaphors and especially for its beautiful formatting. The positioning of key words and phrases adds considerable heft and breadth to the presentation of. WandaLeaBrayton

Oh my goodness. You actually took my breath away from me. This is absolutely stunning. So much texture with rich emotion, flowers being arranged, some alive, some withered, the pushing of trees; I could go on and on. This is one of my most favorites from you. The sadness, and bittersweet quality of this piece made me shed a few tears. Amazing imagery and metaphor were so deeply felt, and you just nailed it. I could dogear the entire piece. Tres Magnifique

It is a piece that takes you with delicate fingers and leads you through various paths. The journey to and fro, happiness to sorrow, to remembering when- Let’s pull out the tablet if we shall, the skies- yellow, perhaps smiling upon what thoughts still linger close to home. When petals wilt, attention to, brings life to their existence as flowers arranged brings a smile to one’s face, there is always hope that lingers upon the petals, truth be known, that weakened by lack of brings sorrow yet with a hand it springs with promises. Through slipping over stones there is a prominent place for footing, that in which the sun burns passion into the open window, allowing the warmth to remove the winters snap by placing a rainbow blanket upon cold limbs. This stole my breath now as it did a year ago. And it is a sad piece yet a piece, that speaks to one – tears rush. Tory

I love the structure you have formed in this poem, unique and amazing. This is so different and well worth the time it took to read this. Each part made gave us time to take a breather….so different and so unique!! From structure to the use of words, so expressive and while reading the poem i felt as if the poet is narrating these verses, i could hear voice… the melancholy in it, which stays in the heart even after the reader completes reading it and for the poet to achieve that is really worth appreciation. Worth publishing. kudos!! anonymous

This poem is imagistically strong. The poem is intelligent, beautifully crafted and has depth of feeling. Above all, it is innovative…pushing boundaries…without being gimmicky. Dr Fiennes-Klein

Oh my goodness!!!! THIS IS SO GOOD! I love this. I love the flow, I love the way it is written. Very emotional, and touching. The word choice is fantastic, and the imagery is brilliant.

CatchingFire

Excellent!, though it felt very sad. It made my heart heavy to think of old romance and memories…all that was left of love. Debra

This is just fabulous! I can see why you won a gold trophy! Unbelieveable! I am stunned by your stunning verse! Anewor

I am glad I took time to read these, it is really very eloquent with lovely formatting and unique way of portraying your thoughts, some amazing metaphors therein too. I read it twice, this itself shows that it was superb, the melancholy of lost love subtly expressed with other ideas that can be thought of. You leave the imagination to the reader portraying a touching scene from the point of view of a monologue leaving us guessing the cause of sadness and I loved that…this is amazing. smitasri

This was INCREDIBLY good. The imagery is remarkable, as in lines such “as where margins stretch limitless” and “If this world were mine we might survive”. The flow is excellent — top marks for the story telling and the ending is critical to a poem and that one nailed it. Bravo.

Here I am again, bushy tailed and bright eyed I very much enjoyed this poem – and found the questions it posed challenging and also comforting to know that we all more or less wonder about the same stuff. I like the shape of the poem also – it seems to follow the wandering musings of the thoughts expressed, the guilty coffee, the shallow concerns of a society presented with too much choice (e.g. hamburgers or cookies,) dismay at the wet hopelessness of too much rain and darkness, fears for the future. Margrit

Great poem…it brings up the questions we all ask, at least from time to time, and does so in an interesting way. I like the use of the apparition. That was a perfect image…the emotional connectivity was spot on, too. I can’t really envision myself in a hip-hop procession, but i love this idea of the paper sky…blank page after blank page. Really nice stuff. — ten thosand cicadas

Exquisite writing shown at its best. Randa Yosry

Sometimes you need to take a day off, take a deep breath and enjoy the beauty of nature. Because we are so busy in pursuit of money that we hardly get any time to spend time with our loved ones. Very thoughtful and Inspiring. Beautifully written poetry, wonderfully expressed. Awesome and stupendous. Jaskaran

This is fantastic. I love the shape, I love the way all the words fit together. My favorite lines were “In the dull-beige-afternoon of Tuesday, the atmosphere is crackling none too gently,” Spectacular write. SpiceRack

This is uniquely, exquisitely an opus of poetic magnitude in every way I can think of. Its lexis is superb, and its expressions are sublimely etched on every letter of each …this composition has full granted clearance to shine as a huge diamond star on constellation’s creativity.
Andre Bendavi ben-YEHU

Hi man! Still churning out the mind bending writes of pure sophistication. Invoking in the reader a sense of what it is that we’re all rushing through and missing out on. Garian Kearns

With a title like that.. i must say’ this is brilliant. The best poems i’ve read all day. Pixalatedbrain

Very effective, engaging pieces of poetry— congratulations. T. Horton

I do love your style of writing, and the form of recounting the days as you have, is really very interesting. I enjoyed this from start to finish as… I could see some elements of the paranoid in it, as well, with the muttering, walls crying out, etc. Superbly written. Lish

Wonderful, just wonderful and I was stirred by this Monday to Friday monologue that rose above the nine-to-five dreariness of work-a-day. The form, the shape, the phrasing — all perfection. Wonderful recitation material and left me wanting more, more, more. Margrit

I actually like this alot. Its simple but makes an elegant attempt to scramble your feelings. I think i liked this because I could refer to it as something id feel and think and do myself. Its universally unique! well done! anonymous

I really like the structure and flowing. I think this person has been hurt by someone he loves and is staying home from work the whole week because it seems there is no meaning to life anymore… sunflower seeds and bubblegum, that’s a good one, I won´t forget this poem. ~~ Winteroak

I really loved the resplendent tone and imagery created by metaphors and painted analogies, it was very vocally descriptive as it is emotively relative, almost searching to find what all there is, within all that exists, and the lasting words speak volumes. Blossomwriter

Poetic, beautiful, and powerful to the emotions and the eye. C. Hope

Exciting weaves that thread evocative metaphors allowing the reader to jump into the vastness of the unknown. XylophonicBlues

I love how deeply descriptive and emotive these pieces are. If I had to highlight my favorite lines ‘where oaks and poplar reach with fervor where thornbirds wing among your murmur ‘ would definitely be my choice… Thank you for sharing such a beautiful piece with me. P. Ramesh

The fog does a lot more here, than merely create atmospheric background~ it takes on a chameleon like persona becoming the thread of unity woven throughout your write….shifting shape, disguising form…just awaiting the reveal in each stanza as seen through an Artist’s eye….

A wonderful piece to have on your recommended list! M K Rock

A brilliantly written, melancholic write, very thought provoking. Those are the circle of life you wrote about. Sometimes we get happiness, other times nothing but pain, but even then we have faith in better days. N. Madjarac

Such a beautiful piece! It had a lull as if I was being hypnotized, lol. So I had to read it again for the simple beauty of it. You are truly an amazing poet! M. Rayne

Romantic in the fashion of the Wordsworthian Lake Poets and certainly free verse. The images are largely memorable ones. Your title demands thought from the reader AFTER a reading of your poem. A strong point is your return to the fog twice and well-spaced, too. Thank you for this fine poem. Danni

Breathtakingly beautiful my friend! Your words are so lovely and smooth to read! I loved this. Mary Jo Hoose

This is a write worthy of taking my breath away. I have read this 3 times now, savoring the sweet gentle rhyme and rhythm. This poem dances within the mind. It makes one long to love, long to write, long for wisdom. It brings a sense of calm and peace soothing a tired soul. This is stunning and so it goes.. in my list of stunning so I may savor and glean its lesson, its hand pointing the way for me to move within my writing world. Jo

Wisdom dripping from…each line..YOUR POETRY IS SIMPLY ASTOUNDING! Poetry.9.Life

The first word that comes to mind is “finesse”. Selby Evergreen

Wow. I don’t often see poetry of this quality. Beautiful, thoughtful, and emotional. Great stuff, really, great stuff. B. Kenneth Hall

This is a beautiful trophy winning write. Simply wonderful. Dwade

This was so deeply gorgeous and breath-taking… *sighs* … I am at a loss for words here.. I think this was seamlessly woven and filled with the tenderness of nature and love and life… I adored and love the metaphors throughout. Fantastic work!! P. Sunset

This is beautiful. I enjoyed. Wise man and wise poets are good to listen to. d. cloud

This is stunning poetry my friend…I was transported…are poets wisemen too I have to ask? Curslayer

Beautiful poetry; stunning imagery, I love how your poems cascade with sense of sadness, but end with hope. Very well done! P. Theorem

Beautiful. I experienced a forlorn feeling until the last stanza, where suddenly I was introduced to hope, hope to capture what was lost in the rising of the golden sun. Well done! Beth

Beautiful ! I liked the words you use to show a picture, and it had great emotion. Great job and keep on writing! I hope to read more by you. Under Wonderland

Rich metaphor and overall structure. The imagery laced within is gorgeous. This is a very beautiful… I commend you poet.. I am very impressed. J. Faulkner

Well done. The form, imagery, flow was impressive. Looked like something in a book already published and famous. A lovely write. Haunted Doll
